Key Activities
- Administration of Windows servers on VMware including VSphere
- Basic knowledge in the administration of Linux systems
- Automation of server deployments
- Support of cloud migration with good knowledge in Azure and AWS
- Maintenance, documentation, and further development of internal IT infrastructure
- Planning, installation, and support of IT systems and associated hardware components
- Careful incident and problem management as well as ensuring ongoing operations and compliance with IT security requirements
- Management of IT service providers
- Backup and recovery management
- Participation in business continuity processes
Desired Profile
- Completed university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in computer science or equivalent vocational training (e.g., IT specialist, IT systems engineer) with a two-year additional qualification
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the IT field
- Good knowledge in Azure and AWS to support cloud migration
- Basic knowledge in the administration of Linux systems
- Voluntary on-call duty (16:00-6:00 in the morning) with corresponding compensation
- Fluent in German and very good English skills in both written and spoken form
- Organizational and assertiveness skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
