The Ford Motor Company has awarded the Q1 Award to Huf India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst GmbH & Co. KG. Huf India was singled out by the American automobile manufacturer with the highest quality award which is given to their suppliers for product and process quality.
The prize is a prerequisite to be series supplier for Ford. The nomination is only given to suppliers who meet the automotive manufacturer's high requirements and standards for quality, productivity, logistics and service.

Huf develops and produces mechanical and electronic locking systems, keys, lock sets, steering column locks, remote control key systems, telematics and tire pressure monitoring systems for the automotive industry and tire trade. Founded in 1908, the company today employs approx. 7,800 people located in 24 subsidiaries in Europe, America and Asia. In 2016 Huf Group achieved a turnover of 1.4 billion dollar.
